Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the pair met personally to build hype for next month's bout.
Former twice unified heavyweight champion Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
In spite of those words, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK rival Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, frequently receiving massive paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would prevent the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.
Size Difference
As the two fighters participated in the customary face-off, with their height and weight contrast on show, it highlighted just how improbable this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the match is actually going ahead.
